A brake pedal of a variable pedal ratio vehicle is provided to improve convenience by adjusting the pedal ratio in braking and keeping optimal brake feeling, and to prevent wrong operation by detecting a pedal arm and accurately controlling a motor. A brake pedal of a variable pedal ratio vehicle includes a pedal arm(50) turned and installed in a vehicle body and operated by a foot of a driver, a push rod(60) installed to the pedal arm and connected to a booster(62) to supply operational force of the pedal arm to the booster, a variable unit(70) installed between the push rod and the pedal arm, rotated and connected to longitudinally slide an end of the push rod to the pedal arm, and a driving unit(80) moving the push rod along the variable unit by detecting operation of the pedal arm. The pedal arm is rotated by a hinge pin(52), and a long hole(54) is formed longitudinally in the pedal arm. The push rod is vertically slid along the hole and connected to adjust the pedal ratio according to the distance between a connection portion of the push rod and a footboard. The driving unit is composed of a movement detecting sensor(82), a control unit and a motor(86). |
