A method for manufacturing a flexible LCD and an apparatus for manufacturing the flexible LCD are provided to advance the manufacturing process regardless of sizes of plastic substrates, and effectively prevent the bending of the plastic substrates. A flexible mother substrate(10) is supported by a supporter(50). The flexible mother substrate is vacuously absorbed, and attached to the supporter. A thin film pattern is formed on the flexible mother substrate. The vacuous absorption is performed through a penetration path(60) within the supporter. The flexible mother substrate includes a plastic substrate. |
