A multi-functional electronic picture frame is provided to be suitable for multimedia information of various types. A PC terminal unit(42) has a slot capable of inserting a cable terminal, connects to an external device terminal unit(44) by a cable, and performs a master-slave function. The external device terminal unit(44) has a slot capable of connecting to one or more external devices through the cable terminal, and processes data stored in a memory unit(52) through the external device connected by the cable. A control unit(20) has a ROM which stores an operating program necessary for controlling and operating the entire device, and processes read data of various storing devices. A decoding unit(22) decodes the data processed by the control unit(20), and transmits the decoded data. An output unit(24) outputs the data processed by the decoding unit(22). A display unit(26) displays the data processed by the decoding unit(22) to be capable of being recognized by a user. The memory unit(52) stores various still picture data and moving picture data. A memory card reader unit(30) includes a USB(Universal Serial Bus) card reader unit capable of recognizing a USB memory.
