A rotary engine is provided to prevent vibration and noise caused due to reciprocating motion of a piston, by generating driving force only from the rotation of a rotor even without reciprocation of the piston. A rotary engine(100) comprises a cylinder block(10), a first rotor(11), a second rotor(12), a first gear(31) and a second gear(32), an intake pipe(40), a fuel injection unit(41), an ignition plug(42), and an exhaust pipe(50). The cylinder block has a shape formed by partially overlapping two cylindrical spaces. The first rotor is accommodated in one of the cylindrical spaces of the cylinder block, and rotates by a first rotation shaft(21). The first rotor has a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the cylinder block, and an outer surface where a rotating blade(11a) is formed. The second rotor is accommodated in the other of the cylindrical spaces of the cylinder block, and rotates at the speed identical with that of the first rotor by a second rotation shaft(22). The second rotor has an outer surface with a groove(12a) for insertion of the rotating blade of the first rotor. The second rotor has a diameter larger than that of the first rotor. The first gear and the second gear are connected to respective ends of the first rotation shaft and the second rotation shaft. The intake pipe has an air injector(43) connected to an upper portion of a vertical line on which the cylindrical spaces of the cylinder block are symmetrically arranged. The fuel injector is connected to the intake pipe. The ignition plug is arranged in the cylinder block so as to ignite air and fuel taken in a suction region formed among the rotating blade of the first rotor, the outer surface of the second rotor, and an inner surface of the cylinder block. The exhaust pipe is connected to the cylinder block facing the intake pipe.
