Washing machine with a transport securing device

The washing machine (1) has a washing unit (3) which oscillates relative to the machine housing (2). The washing unit includes a drum (5) surrounded by a jolt container (6) which is secured against impacts by a transport securing means comprising at least one rod. In the secured state, the rod is fixed in a receptacle in the front of the housing and in receptacles in the housing back wall. The rod is secured to the wash unit by tongues. The rod has locking sleeves which provide the force connections with the back wall and tongues.
