COMPOSITIONS FOR INDUCING THE DIFFERENTIATION OF STEM CELLS AND USES THEREOF

Compositions for inducing differentiation of stem cells and use thereof are provided to prepare differentiated cells, preferably nerve cells from stem cells, so that the nerve cells differentiated from stem cells are useful for treating various nerve diseases. The composition for inducing differentiation of stem cells comprises N-acetylcysteine as an effective ingredient, wherein the composition further comprises a differentiation-inducing agent selected from retinoic acid, ascorbic acid, melatonine, cytokine and growth factor; the differentiated cell from stem cells is the nerve cell; the nerve cell is the dopaminergic nerve cell. The stem cell is differentiated by culturing the stem cell in the composition for inducing differentiation of stem cells containing N-acetylcysteine.
