An electric fire protection system using arc detection is provided to prevent an electric fire in advance by controlling power supply after judging a cause of the fire in advance by detecting arc generated by dielectric breakdown, connection defect and aging phenomenon of an electric line. Arc due to current difference or voltage difference generated in an electric line of a load on usage is detected by using an arc detection part. An emergency lamp and an emergency alarm are operated by processing an arc generation signal generated in the arc detection part by using a controller, and then the arc generation signal is transmitted to a control center at the same time. The control center stops power supply to the electric line where the controller is installed, and informs a user of abnormal state. A repair team is dispatched to the arc-detected area, and diagnoses and recovers the arc generation cause, and then reports the processing result to the control center. The control center reports the final result to an upper local center or a headquarter.
