<p>An electric motor (4) has a stator (12) with a housing (16), a winding (14) and a device (26) that reverses the motor's rotational direction. The reversing device has a contact carrier (28) secured on the stator housing with releasable fasteners. It has field contacts (32) electrically connected with the stator winding and with fixed contacts (42a,42b). A brush carrier (30) connectable with fixed contacts has carbon guides (48) to which switching contacts (52a,52b) are electrically connected. The housing has an axial stop for the brush carrier which rotates relative to the contact carrier.</p> |
