A side mirror having a global positioning system receiver is provided to install a global positioning system to a side mirror of a vehicle without requiring the receiver to be installed in or out of the vehicle, thereby providing clean appearance. A side mirror having a global positioning system receiver includes the global positioning system receiver(30) installed on the top of the side mirror of a vehicle. The GPS receiver has a semi-circular shape. The GPS receiver is connected to a navigation system installed in the vehicle through the side mirror by connecting a cable. The GPS receiver is installed to any one of a right side mirror or a left side mirror.
