摘要

FIELD: cleaning gases by sorption; enrichment of gas mixture with oxygen from air and removal of carbon dioxide and toxic admixtures from air. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed absorber has housing 1 with end plates 2 and gas mixture inlet pipe unions 4 and 5 and outlet pipe union 3; housing is also provided with circular perforated grate for sorbent. Grate has separate sections 6 with blind circular covers 15. Absorber is divided into cylindrical chambers 7 by partitions 8. Chambers are located in succession lengthwise and are brought into communication through central hole 10 and peripheral holes 9 found in partitions 8. Each chamber 7 has two sections 6. Holes 17 in adjacent circular covers 15 of sections 6 of each chamber 7 coincide. Holes 17 in adjacent circular covers of adjacent sections 6 divided by partition 8 coincide with one another and with central hole 10 in partition 8. Absorber is additionally provided with gates 11 which may close said holes. ^ EFFECT: possibility of control of gas flows inside absorber under different operating conditions. ^ 3 dwg
