An active suspension of a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to prevent nose-up, and to restrict impact and lifting in suddenly accelerating by actively controlling geometry of the active suspension. An active suspension of a vehicle includes a geometric installation member(10) having a first thread penetration hole(12) and a storage groove(14), a motor(20) mounted in the geometric installation member and provided with a thread rotating shaft(22), a bracket(30) having a thread penetration hole(34) and moving up and down in turning the rotating shaft of the motor, and a geometric bush(40) mounted in the bracket by a fixing pin(32) to control vibration of a lower arm(5). Information on throttle state, final acceleration, RPM and wheel slip is detected by a sensor to drive the motor in suddenly accelerating the vehicle, and operation of the motor is decided according to control logic by receiving information from the sensor. The geometry is changed by returning to the initial position according to operation of the control logic and driving the motor in suddenly accelerating. |
