An air bag cover assembly is provided to prevent a mounting plate from escaping from a cover during inflation of an air bag, by forming a hook movement prevention portion in the space of a hook hole. An air bag cover assembly comprises a cover(10), a mounting plate(20), and a plate(30). The cover has a space for accommodating components of an air bag, and an edge with a hook(12). The mounting plate has a hook hole(22) for coupling with the hook of the cover, and protects components arranged in the space of the cover. The plate includes a hook movement prevention portion(32) coupled to the mounting plate so as to prevent the hook from escaping from the hook hole, and an inflator flange portion(34) were an inflator is fixed. The hook movement prevention portion and the inflator flange portion are formed into a single body.
