METHOD OF MAKING GRAIN LEATHER

Provided is a method for preparing grain leather which is free from chromium and environmentally friendly by employing a natural dye and a natural tanning agent. The method comprises the steps of removing fur, oil and soluble protein unnecessary for the production of leather; tanning the leather; dyeing the leather; fatliquoring the leather for flexibility; and painting the leather to prepare grain leather, wherein the tanning process is carried out by using a metallic component except chromium, an extracted vegetable tanning agent and a chemical tanning agent, the dyeing process is carried out by using a vegetable or animal extract for natural dyeing, and the painting process is carried out by giving aromaticity to remove the specific odor of leather.
