FIELD: cutting equipment, in particular, equipment for preliminary and final grinding of waste and secondary materials, preferably, plastics, as well as for measured cutting of movable material into small-sized lengths. ^ SUBSTANCE: drum-type grinder has two drums mounted on bearings and bearing cutting members with joined cutting edges. Cutting members are made in the form of teeth cut on drums by smoothing with the help of involute engagement cutting tool. Teeth of drum with reverse rotation cutting members are produced on placing of working rack at such a distance from drum center that boundary of active part of lathe engagement line goes beyond point of contacting of said line with main circle. Outer diameter of drum with rear cutting members does not exceed diameter of circle drawn through boundary point on lateral profile of tooth, said point dividing tooth profile into involute and non-involute parts. Grinder of such design allows length of cut parts to be minimized up to 4 mm. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction of shears and manufacture process, and minimized length of parts ground by means of said grinder. ^ 4 cl, 7 dwg |
