A piston ring assembling apparatus for a piston is provided to reduce fatigue of a worker by eliminating the necessity of pressing a ring load cylinder in a downward direction. A piston ring assembling apparatus for a piston, comprises a base(1); a ring load plate(3) arranged on the base; a ring load cylinder(5) penetrating the ring load plate in a vertical direction; an assembling cup(9) which is mounted on the ring load cylinder, and has a sloped circumferential surface(7); a screw jack(11) connected to a bottom of the ring load cylinder so as to move the ring load cylinder in a vertical direction; a servo motor for providing rotating force to the screw jack; an elevation sensor(15) for sensing the elevation of the ring load cylinder; a descent sensor(17) for sensing the descent of the ring load cylinder; and a controller(19) for controlling the servo motor in accordance with signals and input data of the elevation sensor and the descent sensor. |
