ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSIS APPARATUS

An ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus comprising an oscillator array (1) having a plurality of oscillators arrayed for transmitting ultrasonic waves to a specimen and receiving the reflected waves, and delay adding units (4 to 9) for parallel receptions by adding delay times to signals coming from the arrayed oscillators. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a deflection angle control unit (14) for making a control to reduce the angles contained between a plurality of receiving directions in the parallel receptions, as the angles of deflection of transmission beams transmitted from the arrayed oscillators become the larger. The ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus thus provided keeps the relative sensitivities of the parallel receptions homogeneous independently of the deflection angles in an ultrasonic transmission beam. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
