An automotive headlamp has a light source placed in front of a reflector and behind a Fresnel lens to emit a light beam as required. The headlamp incorporates a temperature correction control unit such that, at a predefined light-dark-threshold, the illumination amplification distribution is always below a predefined anti-dazzle threshold.
