A method and an apparatus for performing automatic bonding of a film-on-glass are provided to realize the working accuracy and the process continuity, by performing a glass loading process, an ACF attaching process, a pre-bonding process, and a main bonding process in one apparatus. Glasses are respectively loaded on first and second ACFs(Anisotropic Conductive Films)(21,21a) at a regular time interval. ACFs are attached onto the glasses using an ACF attaching unit(24). The film-on-glasses are loaded on a pair of bonding stages, and then FPCs(Flexible Printed Circuits) are preliminarily bonded on the film on glasses using a pair of pre-bonding compressors(34). The pre-bonded film-on-glasses are loaded at aligning unit, and then a main bonding work is performed on the pre-bonded film-on-glasses using a main bonding compressor(43). |
