A portable terminal device, a contents distribution system, and a contents reproduction program are provided to continuously reproduce a series of stream data, even though a communication state between a distribution device and a portable phone is deteriorated. A distribution device(1) conducts distribution control for predetermined contents such as movies or music stored in a DB. A network interface(2) promotes network connection of the distribution device(1). An exchange(4) is connected to a communication network(3). Plural base stations(5) enable radio communication with portable phones(6) located in each region. The portable phones(6) have wireless communication functions.
