A universal electric device controlling method using control data included in A/V(Audio/Video) data of a computer is provided to offer reality and intimacy of a medium by extending an A/V area with sensible implementation of the control data included in the A/V data. A control data extractor(120) plays the A/V data(111) and extracts the control data(112) included in the A/V data(110) by executing the A/V data including the control data to be stored or transferred to a storage device or a wired/wireless communication device connected to the computer(100). An electric control data generator(140) generates an electric control signal corresponding to the control data if the control data is received from the control data extractor. An electric control signal connecting/distributing device(150) connects the electric control signal with various kinds of electric devices(160) through a computer port to perform 1:1 or 1:many distribution function.
