A method and a system for an online bidding service distributing a bidding fee through the Internet are provided to enable a seller to save PR(Public Relation)/business expenses for selling articles by accumulating seller points to the seller paying the bidding fee and failed in bidding as much as the bidding fee, and enabling the seller to use the seller points to discount the bidding fee. The system comprises a buyer terminal(10), a seller terminal(13), a settlement system(11), a delivery system(12), and a bidding server system(14). The bidding server system comprises a web interface server(15) processing the bidding in real-time, an FTP(File Transfer Protocol) server(16) storing/providing an electronic document, a mail server(17) informing bidders of bidding registration and a successful bidder, a program processor(18), and a database part(19). The service processor comprises a user authenticator(18a), a buyer/seller bidding register(18b,18c), a security/fee settler(18d), a bid price inquiry processor(18e), a bidding proposal inquiry processor(18f), a buyer evaluator(18g), a service operator evaluator(18h), a successful bidder processor(18i), and a rebate processor(18j). |
