An RF(Radio Frequency) interference preventing method in PLC(Power Line Communication), a communication device or communication network including method are provided to service propagation path limitation through a cable path and/or a radio channel avoidance PLC method, therefore high-speed communication is available without causing interference on an existing RF by PLC. A PLC modem sets a carrier generation range of a modem signal as an initial value(101). A section to which PLC will be commonly applied is established, while other regions are limited not to be propagated by power line signals through cable lines(102). The carrier generation range set as the initial value and/or the PLC section set as an initial value are/is changed through remote control(104,105).
