摘要 A transmission apparatus and a transmission method for a base station in a cellular system are provided to increase the throughput by dividing a frequency band into a plurality of groups, allocating a beamforming weight to each of the groups, and increasing the selectivity for group selection. A transmission apparatus for a base station in a cellular system comprises a user signal generator(100), a multi-antenna modulator(200), and a plurality of subcarrier allocators(300). The user signal generator(100) divides an allocated frequency band into a plurality of groups, and creates each group's user signal for each associated sub carrier. The multi-antenna modulator(200) applies a beamforming weight to each of the cell boundary user signals. The cell boundary multi-antenna modulator(200) applies a beamforming weight corresponding to each of the groups to each of the user signals. Each of the subcarrier allocators(300) allocates a corresponding subcarrier to each of the beamforming weight-applied user signals.
