A power saving door opening and closing system using a touch pad is provided to reduce power consumption by excluding a sensor detecting users approaching a door and supplying only fine current to a touch pad unit except the time for opening and closing the door. A power saving door lock device(100) using a touch pad includes an interface unit(110) receiving certification information and a control command of a user; a memory unit(120) storing the certification information input through the interface unit; an RF(Radio Frequency) communication unit(150) transmitting an RF signal having predetermined frequency and a code to a transponder(200) of a user and receiving the certification information from the transponder; an external input receiving unit receiving a power saving mode releasing command from the user; a central processing unit(130) changing a power saving mode into an operation mode when receiving the power saving mode releasing command from the external input receiving unit, certifying the user by comparing the certification information wirelessly received from the transponder with the certification information stored in the memory unit, and controlling the locked state of a door according to the certification result; and a power supply unit(160) supplying power to components according to a control signal of the central processing unit. |
