<p>A long-term reception service system and a method thereof are provided to perform a paging process for incoming call connection by increasing paging time or paging frequency when a receiving terminal is registered in a long-term reception service, thereby more extending the paging time and paging frequency. An HLR(Home Location Register)(50) has long-term reception service registration information. If an incoming call connection request of a receiving terminal(100) is received from an originating terminal(10), an originating MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(40) requests the HLR(50) to inquire about whether the receiving terminal(100) is registered in a long-term reception service, and delivers a flag for executing the long-term reception service according to the inquired results. If the receiving terminal(100) is registered in the service, a receiving MSC(70) more lengthily performs a paging process than the general paging process having paging request time for connecting a general incoming call, according to the flag.</p> |
