<p>An air conditioner having a water draining unit is provided to drain or remove water from an indoor unit and prevent dropping of water from the indoor unit, thereby preventing pollution of a building by water dropped from the air conditioner. An air conditioner includes one or more indoor units(3) respectively having a water draining hose(35) for receiving water generated in the indoor unit, an outdoor unit(1) having a fan provided with a spindle, and a water draining unit(50) connected to the spindle of the fan part and the hose of the indoor unit. The water draining unit has a housing attached with caps, wherein each of the caps has an inlet connected to the hose and an outlet for discharging the water. The outlet is connected to a water storage part(13) of the outdoor unit. The housing has an internal compartment connected to the inlets and the outlets of the caps, and two check valves mounted between the compartment and the caps, so that the water flows from the inlets of the caps to the outlets of the cap via the compartment of the housing.</p> |
