A method for manufacturing a disk for a butterfly valve is provided to lengthen the lifespan of the disk by permitting the disk to have a surface and an interior with a dense metal organization. A method for manufacturing a disk for a butterfly valve, comprises a step of grinding a surface of a metal panel; a step of producing a disk by shearing the metal panel into a predetermined size and shape; a step of producing an upper plate by bending a center of the disk and forming a bolt through one surface of the bent portion; a step of producing a lower plate by bending the center of the disk and forming a bolt coupling portion at one surface of the bent portion, and forming a nut portion by forming a screw thread at an interior of the bolt coupling portion; a step of abutting welding the upper plate and the lower plate; a step of forming a disk(50) by trimming the welded portion of the disk; a step of compressing both ends of a shaft(40) so that the shaft has a dense metal organization, and forming a through hole at one side of the shaft; a step of processing a shaft coupling hole of the disk so that the shaft is inserted into the shaft coupling hole; a step of inserting the shaft into the shaft coupling hole, coupling a bolt to the bolt hole of the upper plate, and coupling a lower portion of the bolt to the nut portion of the lower plate; and a step of improving the surface roughness of the disk by grinding the surface or welded portion of the disk. |
