An apparatus for discharging cold air in a refrigerator is provided to discharge the cold air to side surface as well as upper or lower sides by operating an auxiliary fan. An apparatus for discharging cold air in a refrigerator includes an evaporator(120), at least one main fan(160), a duct assembly(130), and an auxiliary fan. The evaporator generates cold air. The at least one main fan is driven to discharge the cold air into a food storage, and recollects the air heat exchanged with the stored foods in the food storage. The duct assembly is installed at one side of the evaporator and the main fan to form a space part for accommodating the evaporator and the main fan, and communicates the food storage and the space to recollect the air heat exchanged in the food storage. The auxiliary fan is installed at upper and lower sides of the space, or installed at the upper or lower side of the space.
