A door structure of a drum-type washing machine is provided to preclude the switch formed at the door from being damaged when the washing machine suddenly drops down in transporting it by placing bending parts installed at the upper and lower parts of the hanging groove. A door structure of a drum-type washing machine is composed of: a cabinet(80); an opened part(300) formed at the front of the cabinet to inject clothes; a door(200) rotatably mounted at the front of the cabinet by a hinge assembly to open and close the opened part of the cabinet; a hook(250) installed at the door; a hanging groove(350) hung with the hook to hold the locking status of the door and installed at the cabinet to one side of the opened part; and bending parts connected to the hanging groove and installed to extend the contacted area with the hook. The bending parts are mounted at the upper and lower parts of the hanging groove.
