FABRICATING METHOD FOR FLAT DISPLAY DEVICE

A method for manufacturing a flat display element is provided to omit an exposure process and a developing process, and reduce a process time by patterning a predetermined thin film on a substrate based on a PDMS(Polydimethylsiloxane) soft mold and a high polymer resin. A method for manufacturing a flat display element includes the steps of: arranging a soft mold having a protrusion unit on a region corresponding to a region where a thin film pattern is formed on a substrate; making a predetermined region of the substrate which is contacted with the protrusion unit of the soft mold hydrophobic by contacting the substrate with the protrusion unit of the soft mold; patterning a hydrophilic high polymer resin on a region except the hydrophobic region by spreading the hydrophilic high polymer resin on the substrate having a predetermined hydrophobic region.
