LOACTION MANGEMENT AND MESSAGE DELIVERY OF MOBILE AGENT METHOD AND SYSTEM IN MULTI REGION MOBILE AGENT COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT

A method and a system for managing a location of a mobile agent and transferring a message in a multiple local mobile agent computing environment are provided to reduce a location updating expense and a message transfer expense generated when the location of the mobile agent is managed and the message is transferred in the multiple local mobile agent computing system. The mobile agent dynamically selects a next node and moves to the next node according to an execution result of the node, and autonomously performs a task while moving between the nodes according to a moving plan. The node provides an execution place corresponding to an execution environment for enabling the mobile agent to perform the task, and provides a function for generating, executing, and transporting the mobile agent. A local server provides a naming server to the mobile agent generated from a self-region in cooperation with a lookup server, and performs location management and message transfer of the mobile agents placed in the region. The lookup server provides a global naming service and a lookup service for the mobile agent in multiple regions.
