A method for performing calibration in a diversity mobile communication terminal and a mobile communication terminal implementing the same are provided to uniformly progress calibration operations of receive diversity by once executing a calibration program, thereby improving calibration execution speed and easily performing calibration operations. A mobile communication terminal comprises the followings: a control unit(170) for controlling whole operations of the mobile communication terminal; a transmission unit(150) for processing a transmitted CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) signal; the first receiving unit(160) for processing a received CDMA signal; a diplexer(140) for transmitting the CDMA signal, received from the first antenna(110), to the first receiving unit(160) or transmitting the CDMA signal, received from the transmission unit(150), to the first antenna(110); the first switching unit(130) for connecting the first antenna(110) and the diplexer(140) or connecting the first antenna(110) and the second switching unit(190) according to control of the control unit(170); a mobile switch(120) for connecting a calibration device(300) between the first antenna(110) and the first switching unit(130); and the second switching unit(190) for connecting the second antenna(200) and the second receiving unit(180) or connecting the first switching unit(130) and the second receiving unit(180) according to control of the control unit(170).
