A steam injecting drum-type washing machine is provided to reduce the water and time by connecting the supply pipe extended from the steam generating apparatus with the center of the upper side of the tub, and uniformly injecting the hot temperature and hot pressure steam through the whole laundry. A steam injecting drum-type washing machine comprises: a cabinet(10) in which a predetermined space is formed; a tub(20) where the washing water is stored; a drum(30) rotatably installed in the tub; a driving apparatus(40) installed at the tub and connected to the drum; a water supply apparatus(50) connected to the tub from the outside of the cabinet to supply the water; a steam generating apparatus(70) connected to the water supply apparatus to heat the water and to supply the hot temperature and hot pressure steam into the tub and the drum; and a supply pipe(76) installed between the steam generating apparatus and the tub. The tub is formed with a penetration hole part at the upper surface connected with the supply pipe. The steam generating apparatus contains a case(72) formed with inlet and outlet ports.
