Methods of treating, preventing and managing pulmonary hypertension are disclosed. Specific methods encompass the administration of thalidomide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate (e.g., hydrate), stereoisomer, clathrate, or prodrug thereof, alone or in combination with a second active agent, surgery and/or lung transplantation. Specific second active agents are capable of reducing pulmonary artery pressure. Pharmaceutical compositions, single unit dosage forms, and kits suitable for use in methods of the invention are also disclosed. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
