A system and a method for substitute settlement using a subordinate credit card are provided to enable a minor to use the subordinate credit card having the same credit card number as the parent's by receiving authentication of the parent after an SMS(Short Message Service) or callback URL(Uniform Resource Locator) message is sent to a mobile terminal of the parent. The subordinate credit card is issued to the minor in addition to the credit card of the parent by using the same credit card number as the parent's credit card and gets to be available only when the authentication is received from the parent. A credit card checker(100) reads information of the subordinate credit card. A personal terminal(200) inquires approval of the subordinate credit card by using the information read in the credit card checker, or generates/transmits the certification and an approval message of the parent by receiving the information of the subordinate credit card and a mobile terminal number, and displays a certification result. An SMS sender(300) requests the certification to the parent by transmitting a short message to the mobile terminal number of the parent. |
