A terminal and a connector using the same are provided to achieve certain electrical-connection between a flexible cable and a substrate, by connecting one terminal and the end of the flexible cable with several connection points. A housing(22) forms the frame and appearance of a connector(20). An actuator(24) is installed on one side of the housing. The actuator fixes a flexible cable(3) at the inside of the housing and electrically connects the flexible cable and a terminal(30). The number of the terminals is the same as that of the flexible cables. The terminal includes a contact part(32) formed with a number of contact projections(33), which are electrically connected to the end of the cable, a support part(34) connected to the contact part through a connection part(36) to prevent the contact part from being moved, and a mounting part(38) formed on one side of the connection part and soldered on a board(1).
