A display apparatus and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce the number of wires to be formed on a substrate by applying a common voltage to a thin film transistor array wire. A display apparatus includes a plurality of thin film transistors, a partition wall(40), and a cathode electrode(800). The plurality of thin film transistors are electrically connected to a gate wire and a data wire. The partition wall(40) is formed on the plurality of thin film transistors, and has a contact unit which exposes the data wire. The cathode electrode(800) is electrically connected to the data wire through the contact unit. A pixel electrode is electrically connected to the thin film transistor. A light-emitting layer(50) is formed on the pixel electrode. The partition layer partitions neighboring pixel electrodes.
