<p>A method for informing a user of arrival and a mobile communication terminal for executing the method are provided to previously receive information about an arrival subway station, set by a user, and output an alarm when the second base station ID is the same as the first base station ID of the arrival subway station, thereby improving user's convenience. A method for informing a user of arrival comprises the following steps of: receiving an ID(Identifier) of an arrival subway station from a user and setting a base station ID of a base station related to the arrival subway station in a base station setting area of a terminal(201,202); activating an alarm for the first base station ID of the base station, related to a specific arrival subway station, according to selection input of the user(203); receiving the second base station ID from a predetermined base station(204); comparing the first base station ID with the second base station ID(205); and outputting an alarm to the user when the first base station ID is the same as the second base station ID(206).</p> |
