CONTROL METHOD OF CLOTHES DRIER

A method for controlling drying of a clothes dryer is provided to elevate the drying performance of a small amount of load and secure reliability of the product by regulating the course time for the load on the basis of the clothes-wet status sensed from the course beginning. A method for controlling drying of a clothes dryer comprises: a step(S10) of driving the heater and operating the drying course if a user inputs a driving command for a small amount of load; a step(S30) of sensing the dryness(D) of the clothes at the time when a first set time goes by after entering the drying course; a step(S60) of judging whether or not the sensed dryness is below a predetermined value if the predetermined second set time goes by; a step(S80) of adding a third set time and extending the drying course for the third set time if the dryness is below the set value at the time when the first set time goes by; and a step of finishing the drying course if the dryness is over the set value at the time when the first set time goes by.
