An MMS(Multimedia Message Service) transmission method in a mobile communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal adopted with the method are provided to transmit an MMS by using Bluetooth in case of a condition capable of transmitting the MMS, and to transmit the MMS by using a mobile communication network in case of a condition incapable of transmitting the MMS. If an MMS transmission request exists, a terminal decides whether a terminal embedded with a Bluetooth module exists within a short range(S201-S205). If so, the terminal confirms whether the existing terminal corresponds to a requested telephone number(S207). If so, the terminal decides whether software which controls a Bluetooth MMS exists in the corresponding terminal(S209). If so, the terminal sets a Bluetooth connection with the corresponding terminal, and transmits an MMS by using Bluetooth(S211,S213).
