A method for binding substrates in an LCD is provided to reduce the defect of a binding process of the substrates and prevent the mis-alignment of the substrates, by measuring the binding degree of the substrates before a seal line for binding the substrates is hardened. An array substrate and a color filter substrate are respectively prepared. One of the substrates is inputted on a first stage, and a seal line is formed on the one substrate(S601). The other of the substrates is inputted on a second stage, and a liquid crystal is dropped on the other substrate(S602). The two substrates are aligned through a first alignment mark(S603). The two substrates are bound to each other(S604). A binding degree of the bound substrates is inspected through a second alignment mark while the first stage and the second stage are separated from each other(S605). The bound substrates are hardened(S607). |
