An LCD and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent disconnection from being generated in a connection portion between a data line and a data pad, by separating the data line and the data pad, and then connecting the data line and the data pad through a conductive pad. An array substrate has a display area and a non-display area. A plurality of gate lines(401) are formed in the display area, and a plurality of data lines(402) perpendicularly cross the gate lines. Gate pads and data pads(405) are formed in the non-display area, wherein the gate pads and the data pads are respectively connected to ends of the gate lines and the data lines. Jumping holes are configured to connect the data pads and the data lines, respectively. Conductive pads(406) are formed in the jumping holes, and electrically connect the data lines and the data pads. |
