An LED(Light Emitting Diode) is provided to obtain good color rendering and good color reproducibility by implementing a white light with continuous spectrum from green color to red color. An LED includes a first and a second electrode(30,35), a light emitting chip(20) mounted on the first electrode, and a molding part(50). At least one orthosilicate fluorescent substance(60) and an alkaline earth metal sulfide fluorescent substance(70) are uniformly mixed in the molding part. The orthosilicate fluorescent substrate presents [(Ba,Sr,Ca)1-x(Pb,Cu)x]2SiO4:Eu,B. Also, the alkaline earth metal sulfide fluorescent substrate presents (Ca,Sr)1-x-yEuxCy(S1-zSez).
