A structure for installing an air vent duct is provided to realize air sealing between a duct part and a crash pad by a sealing protrusion formed at a fixing part, thereby reducing the decrease of a valid sectional area of a duct part and improving straight advancing of air for increasing defrosting performance with reduced noise. An air vent duct installation structure includes a crash pad(200) mounted to a front part of a vehicle room, and a duct part(120) mounted on the crash pad and passing air. A fixing part(140) is formed at an end of the duct part by bending the duct part. Molten ribs(160) are formed at the fixing part to be fixed to the crash pad by vibration fusion. The fixing part is formed with a sealing protrusion(180) contacting the crash pad preferably at a corner where the duct part meets the fixing part.
