A method for accumulating/using mileage with a UIM(User ID Module) card and a mobile terminal equipped with the same are provided to enable a user to use the mileage by accumulating the mileage to a mileage file generated/stored when the user transacts with a member shop and offsetting the mileage with confirmation of the mileage file stored in the UIM card. A program memory(102) includes a program for performing an operation accumulating or using the mileage. A key input part(104) includes multiple buttons for inputting a password to check the user. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) display part(106) displays an operation status of the mobile terminal and a mileage operation result. The UIM card(112) stores certification, financial, and personal information of the user, and member shop information. A local area communication module(114) communicates with a settlement terminal of the member shop. A micro processor(120) performs the operation for accumulating or using the mileage with the program stored in the program memory, displays the operation result to the user through the LCD display part, and records the operation result to the UIM card through a UIM card slot(110). |
