A casing of a drum-type washing machine is provided to reduce number of parts and improve the convenience of a user by installing the back cover completely covering the rear side of the cabinet and completely opening the rear part of the washing machine in fixing the machine. A casing of a drum-type washing machine comprises: a base(130); a cabinet(100) mounted at the base to form front, left and right surfaces of the washing machine, wherein upper and rear surfaces are opened; a back cover(110) for covering the whole rear side of the cabinet; and a top plate(120) for covering the upper surface of the cabinet. Plural hole parts contain a water supply valve hole(114a) in which a water supply valve is mounted, and a power cord hole(114c) in which the power cord is penetrated.
