Abduction cushion has a core (1) with smooth base surface and a shape tapering to the top. The base surface (8) of the cushion has rounded ends so that the side of the core turned to the floor has a reinforced base area (2) whose underneath top surface (6) is smooth and slip-fast. The core is made of bendy, flexible material from the foam group of materials. The sides of the core are shaped. The length of the core is about double the distance between knee and tip of the foot.
