A system and a method for offering contents by linking with a transportation card are provided to enable a user to easily access the desired contents, solve dissatisfaction caused from spam AD(ADvertisement), and obtain an AD charge from a CP(Content Provider) by transmitting the contents previously selected from the user to the mobile terminal after receiving customer information through the transportation card when the user uses the transportation card. The transportation card terminal(20) settles a fare of public transportation tools and extracts transportation card information when the transportation card(10) is contacted. A transportation card server(30) extracts and transmits a transportation card number if the transportation card information is received from the transportation card terminal. A service server(40) extracts the user information through the transportation card number if the transportation card number is received from the transportation card server, requests the contents to a content providing server(50) by checking the preset content information and a mobile terminal number through the user information, and transmits the contents to the mobile terminal(90). |
