Graft copolymers of polyvinyl acetals (I), obtained by polymerisation of unsaturated monomers (II) in presence of polyvinyl acetals with unsaturated acetal units (III). An independent claim is included for a method for the production of graft copolymers of (III) by bulk, solution or precipitation polymerisation, suspension polymerisation in water or emulsion polymerisation in water.
