A homopolar generator adopting a PI control part with an input limiter and a method for setting a control gain are provided to secure a stable operation of a generating system by improving an excess property through a gain control of a control part. In a homopolar generator adopting a PI control part with an input limiter, a generating unit(200) generates an electromotive force. A rectifying unit(230) rectifies the three-phase AC electromotive power into the DC power. A filtering unit(260) removes a ripple voltage included in a waveform rectified by the rectifying unit(230). A control unit(250) controls an output voltage varied according to a load and an RPM by controlling the amount of magnetic flux flowing through the generating unit(200). |
